The North Music

Sheffield band, The North, collaborate with Localed Clothing to produce band merchandise with a difference.

Localed has always been into the Sheffield music scene, and we jumped at the chance to produce some merchandise with the up-and-coming Sheffield indie rock and roll piece, The North.

The band has sold out the likes of the Sheffield 02 Academy, rocked Tramlines and has taken on a UK wide tour, playing Manchester, Leicester, Hull and more. The North has been going from strength to strength since starting in 2010 and with a fan base 10000 strong, 2014 is definitely set to be their year.

Our new Tees don’t just show off everything The North but feature big Sheffield (and northern) music icons like the Leadmill and the old Roxy Disco (now 02 Academy Sheffield).

The North Band Manager, Adam France, had this to say about the collaboration “The North and Localed are both well on their way to success, so needless to say you will want to own one of these t-shirts and be part of the revolution” And we couldn’t agree more.

With so much talk about Sheffield’s rich independent culture, from music to fashion, both The North and Localed thought collaborating on band merchandise would spur other musicians, illustrators and designers to work together to make steel city culture really shine.
